How to flash Samsung Galaxy Note 2 [GT N7100]
Hello all
Today I thought about making a guide to FLASH a Galaxy Note 2
Necessary:
- Phone (Galaxy note 2)
- Backup phone data in case of brick
- Driver Samsung
- MicroSD or USB pen drive (with micro attachment)
- ODIN: https://www.mediafire.com/file/f6wtu1n98hab8x1/Odin306.zip
- CWM recovery: http://www.mediafire.com/file/xlji0jcidumapu8/T_CWM_6.0.4.3_N7100.zip
- Custom ROM MIUI: https://mega.nz/#F!Nw4ClTTT!eZn86dwcE5qMD4u-8H81Fg (select N7100 folder and select the most up-to-date)
Preparation
- Turn off the phone
- Download and extract Odin306.zip into a folder
- Download and extract T_CWM_6.0.4.3_N7100.zip n the same folder as ODIN
- Turn on phone in DOWNLOADING MODE (press vol.up home button and power button)
- Connect the phone to the PC with cable USB
- Open ODIN as Amministrator
Installation CWM
Once connected the phone to the pc and open ODIN it will appear at the top left one write
This is light blue, otherwise the phone fails to connect at the PC
- Select PDA on ODIN and click on PDA for choose the tar file (T_CWM_6.0.4.3_N7100)
- Click START
- When ODIN finish to install CWM and phone reboot is complete turn OFF the phone
- At this point I remember to making backup
Phone FLASH
- Copy CUSTOM ROM MIUI for Galaxy Note 2 to the MicroSD or USB pen drive (with micro attachment)
- Boot the Phone in RECOVERY MODE (vol.up home button and power button)
- Click on 'Wipe cache partition' and click on yes
- At the end of the operation click 'wipe data/factory reset' and click on yes
- At the end of the operation click 'install zip from sdcard' and choose zip /storage/extsdcard and click on custom rom
- Wait and finally click on reboot system now
