How to Install TWRP on Galaxy Note 7

 

Step #1. First, install the TWRP recovery on your Galaxy Note 7.

Note: Now Boot your Note 7 into TWRP recovery by doing next steps.

Step #2. Switch off your Note 7.

Step #3. Press and hold ‘Home + Power + Volume Up’ buttons simultaneously for a while and you will see your Note 7 logo on the screen. Once that happens, release all three buttons at once and your device will boot into TWRP recovery.

Step #4. For the first time TWRP recovery booting you will be prompted to “Allow System Modifications”. Just swipe towards the right and allow it.

Note: We are sure you have taken a backup of all data before proceeding to the Step #5, given below.

Step #5. On the TWRP menu, you will see WPE → Format Data (not advanced) option. Type “yes” and proceed.

Step #6. Now connect your Note 7 to your PC and let your PC transfer all the files to the device via MTP connection which is supported by TWRP.

Step #7. Transfer the SuperSU zip file you have downloaded earlier from the link given above to your Note 7.

Step #8. Select “Install” from the main menu of TWRP and then flash the SuperSU zip file you just transferred to the device in the step #7.

Step #9. Now reboot your Note 7.
